Why did A2E send my question before I finished?
What’s happening
Each spoken question can be up to 30 seconds long. When the bar on the pill runs out, A2E sends what it has heard so far.
What to do
Press your shortcut and start speaking straight away.
The pill says "Listening" and its bar starts to shrink.
As soon as you've finished, press your shortcut again, or click the ✓, to send it yourself.
A2E answers in the pill.
For a longer question, type it instead: press your shortcut and start typing.
The pill becomes a text box and the bar goes away. There's no time limit while you type.
Press Enter to send.
A typed question can be up to 600 characters.
Still not working?
On Pro and Max you can also split a long question in two. A2E remembers your last three questions and answers in the same tab and site until 30 minutes pass without a question, so a follow-up carries on where you left off.
