A2E is an AI answer engine in Chrome. Press your shortcut on the page you're reading, ask out loud or type, and the answer appears right on that page. You can ask it anything, not just questions about the page.

Press your shortcut — Alt+A on Windows and Linux, Option+A on Mac. Press once and speak; don't hold the keys. Press again to send. A2E reads the tab to understand what you're looking at, then answers you there.

Free — a weekly usage limit, your own shortcut, and the everyday model.

Pro, $19/month or $15 billed yearly — a much bigger monthly limit, more thorough answers, web search with sources, and follow-up questions.

Max, $99/month or $79 billed yearly — everything in Pro, an even bigger monthly limit, and complex reasoning for your hardest questions.

Each question uses a small part of your limit, depending on the model and how much work it takes. Everything A2E does to answer counts, including turning your voice into text. If you reach a limit, A2E tells you which one. On Free, you can upgrade for a bigger limit. On Pro and Max, you can also buy extra usage once you've used all of this month's limit.

A2E only looks at the page when you press your shortcut — never before, never in the background. The page's address is trimmed to the site and page, so the part after a ? or # is never sent. Your questions, answers, page content and screenshots are never stored on our servers — there's no place in our database for them to go. The extension keeps your last few exchanges on your own device for a short while so follow-ups work; that's yours, not ours. The AI provider that answers you may hold a request for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deletes it. We don't sell your data.

Yes. Cancel in Settings > Plan & billing and you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to Free. If a downgrade is waiting, undo it first.
